LECTURE OUTLINES

Lecture outlines and recordings were in the folder that you used to be able to access by clicking here, but that I've removed until the course resumes in 2018. With some exceptions (e.g., guest lectures), each lecture outline will be posted at that link shortly before the lecture, and its recording will be posted after the lecture.

Note that we reserve the right to adjust the lecture outline immediately before the lecture. This means sometimes the outline you download and the outline presented in class may differ slightly.

If the recordings don't work on your browser, first try downloading them to your hard drive, and then listening to them with other software (e.g., Quicktime, RealPlayer, iTunes).

The textbook sections listed below correspond only roughly to the lecture material. You only need to know the lecture material; I offer the textbook sections in case they help you to understand and remember the lectures.
